These high-efficiency UL-60950-1 approved AC-DC power converters provides a highly regulated output DC voltage of 13.8 Volts (12 Volt Nominal). With an advanced switch-mode power supply, you can service up to 23 Amp @ 12vDC continuously with a standard 120vAC input @ 60Hz.
The SEC-1223 are ideal for applications where a device or appliance requires continuous and reliable 12vDC power. Examples would be:
- The SunStar line of solar/DC refrigerators and freezers (1 x SEC-1223 can be used on a single DC appliance. While it can work for 2 appliances, the larger SEC-1235 is recommended)
- Cinderella Freedom incineration toilet (1 x SEC-1223 can service the Cinderella Freedom + 1 appliance above)
- Applications which have less than a 23A @ 12vDC requirement i.e. 12vDC lighting strings, 12vDC diaphragm pump, 12vDC fans, etc.
The power supply produces clean reliable power and are highly filtered to suppress RFI. The unit comes with a detachable power supply cord with standard NEMA 5-15P plug.
Features include over-current, short-circuit and over-voltage protection. The AC-DC power supply conforms to FCC Part 15(B), class B digital device.
